About MHR

MHR wasn’t built from theory.
It was built from years of training, coaching, setbacks, injuries, and real life getting in the way.
I’ve been Coaching / Personal Training since 2010.
In that time, I’ve worked with athletes, beginners, people returning from injury, and people who had simply lost confidence or structure in their training.
And over time, something became very clear:
Training isn’t just about training.
It has to work inside life.
There have been periods where training was easy and pushing hard was possible.
And there have been periods where life was full. Work, kids, injuries, stress, and simply showing up was the win.
I’ve lived both.
I’ve dealt with injuries.
Setbacks.
Rebuilding from scratch more than once, shoulder reconstructions, torn hamstrings, broken bones, concussions.
What those experiences taught me is simple:
Training can’t be built on perfection. Because life isn’t perfect.
What matters is:
-
Showing up with what you’ve got
-
Being consistent more often than not
-
Understanding how your body works
-
Adjusting when life changes
That thinking is what MHR’s training systems are built on.
Why the Systems Are Designed This Way
MHR systems aren’t designed to rely on motivation, intensity, or everything going right.
They’re designed to:
-
Hold structure when life gets busy
-
Reduce decision fatigue
-
Teach why things work, not just what to do
-
Allow you to adapt without starting over
The goal isn’t blind effort.
The goal is learning how to train in a way you can sustain.
Not for 12 weeks.
But long term.
What This Means in Practice
MHR training systems are built with:
-
Real world expectations
-
Practical structure
-
No ego
-
No “all or nothing” mentality
Just consistent progress built around your life.
Training should support you, not compete with your responsibilities.
The systems are designed so that, over time, you:
-
Understand your training
-
Build confidence in decision making
-
Rely less on motivation
-
And don’t need to restart every few months
My Role in the System
My role isn’t to control your training forever.
It’s to:
-
Pass on the principles
-
Build awareness
-
Provide structure and guidance where needed
-
And help people become confident applying the system themselves
That’s the long game.
Because that’s what actually works.

Long term progress comes from structure, patience, and understanding.
That’s how MHR approaches training.
